As Manager of Downtown Initiatives, Susan Alexander facilitates the Downtown
Association and its many organizationd and events. She serves as liason and treasurer to the Kokomo Farmers’ Market, executes our many downtown events, and is a founding board member to SHAK Makerspace, a new
membership-based community providing access to tools, industrial equipment and
other makers for creating, tinkering, innovating and prototyping. In addition, she
provides business support to downtown businesses, partners with city and county government on downtown projects, and executes the Alliance's Kokomo Beautiful campaign.
A native Texas, Susan has a bachelors in marketing and business administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and is a National Center for
Economic Gardening Certified Team Leader through the Edward Lowe Foundation. She has worked for the Alliance since 2011.
