Warehouse employment offers a range of
positions, from forklift driver to warehouse
manager. The education and skills required are as
varied as the jobs themselves.
There are three types of warehouse jobs:
- Logistics (the
control and tracking of materials and information between the manufacturer and
the final consumer.)
- Forklift operator
- Systems analyst
- Data management Tech.

distribution (receiving
& shipping activities: roles control everything that enters and leaves the
facility and are responsible for ensuring that all required paperwork is
completed correctly)
- Value of this role increases with
hazardous or international shipping activity
- HS Diploma REQUIRED at the bare
minimum; 2 years experience MINIMUM + additional safety and industry specific training.
- Management (operation
of the facility, maximizing the space usage and staff management. Several layers of management may exist,
ranging from floor supervisors to multi-location managers
