The Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce honored our community's young leaders during the 2017 20 Under 40 Awards on Feb. 22 at Superior V in downtown Kokomo.
The Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance has announced that the Inventrek Technology Park has been recertified as a state Certified Technology Park.
The public is invited to meet with state legislators during the 2017 Third House sessions hosted by the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce.

With New Year’s Eve falling on a Saturday, it’s going to be even more of a party this year! And when the clock strikes midnight, downtown Kokomo will be the place to ring in the new year.
Brad Howell Ford has announced plans to relocate their dealership to Kokomo. The new development will be a significant investment located on the east side of the city, next to Kohl's on the former Cedar Crest Lanes property. The new location will employ around 35 people.
Duke Energy has awarded a $2,500 grant to the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance to create marketing materials to promote the Kokomo community’s many recent quality-of-place investments to spur residential, visitor and economic growth.

The votes have been tallied and the finalists are in for the 102nd Annual Celebration of Commerce and Community Awards presented by the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce.
Jean Neal, vice president of Corporate Affairs for Haynes International Inc. based in Kokomo, is among the 14 nominees for the Ivy Tech Foundation Benefactor of the Year award who were recognized Sept. 29 at the foundation’s annual awards dinner at the West Baden Springs Hotel. Neal was nominated for the award for her many contributions to Ivy Tech’s Kokomo Region.
Four Inventrek tenants also set up shop at East Lincoln and Albright roads thanks to local businessmen.
