Mayor Greg Goodnight of Kokomo said a U.S. Conference of Mayors report placing Kokomo among 48 cities that won’t recover until at least 2021 is wrong. Goodnight said it’s difficult to accept a report predicting the long recovery when economists didn’t see the recession coming to begin with."
